ELAC Writing Center Providing students with a wide range of writing assistance
One-on-One Tutoring Description
At any stage of the writing process, students are welcome to receive personal feedback from a trained tutor. We strongly encourage students to make an appointment.
Students may schedule only one 20 minute appointment per day; however, students may stay to complete the revision activities, with tutor assistance after their 20 minutes, tutoring after the 20 minutes is also known as our “Guided Practice Tutoring” method. If a student still requires assistance with the same assignment, the student no longer needs to make an appointment to meet with a tutor. The student may just walk into the Writing Center and request their Writing Center revision plan (also known as the “Yellow Sheet” to continue working on their assignment with tutor assistance.
